We met up with our long time friend, Stephen of Thenonplace, in London a few weeks back. Always great catching up with him over a pint and seeing how he's doing ever since he went into freelance styling in and about London. It's terrific to see him do some really amazing shoots and features in a host of international magazines and brands such as QVEST, FHM UK, ID, The New Order, Arena, Stussy UK and designer Aitor Throup. He told us about his latest work to get published, a photo feature on The Hideout and Gimme5. Asked by none other than Michael Kopelman to produce this shoot for Streetwear Today magazine, photographer Neil Bedford and Stephen Mann came up with a visual tribute to the guys who run Gimme5 and The Hideout. Featuring friends, family and staff, the production also saw them rummaging through Michael Kopelman's personal archive of gear from the early years. Bits and bobs of vintage Stussy and other brands that are under the Gimme5 umbrella pop up in the photos. Look out for an appearance by Ian Brown as well.

The latest issue of Streetwear Today should be hitting (if not already hit) local bookstores, such as Basheer Books, very soon.
